US made, grippy enough for most riding, looks nice, light weight. Best thing about stainless bottle cages is they don’t mark up a bottle like aluminum cages do, and they don’t look like hot garbage like plastic or carbon cages do. You can bend it back if it gets knackered in a crash. If you want the grippiest cage, get a King Titanium cage, they’re stiffer and have more surface area to grab the bottle. For touring and gravel bikes: steel is good. For mountain bikes, go Ti. Easy.
Drop cages are nice for frames with small triangles. Like most squishy bikes, and bikes that are just small in general. The tabs on the drop cages are about an inch higher up on the back of the cage which effectively drops the cage an inch.
